The Pendragon Legacy
Founder Story: Life begins at Uni –
Part 1
Welcome to my new
legacy, The Pendragon Legacy! Let’s hope
we have better luck with this than the last and manage to reach generation 10!
Now if you have read
my previous legacies you will know that they are not done in the traditional
style. I do use cheats. A lot!
My sims live in big houses and are generally rich from the start. Also this time to try and prevent the
glitching that occurs once a family has stayed in the same place to long you
may also see the legacy family move between towns. If you don’t like your legacies like this
then this is probably not for you!
Now I’ve started
things a little different this time. I
always find myself rushing to get the founder married of and producing kiddie
winkles as soon as possible but felt like you don’t get to know the founder so
well. So this time there will be 4
founder chapters before Generation 1 gets going properly, just so you get to
know our founder.
And here is our
founder, Kami Pendragon!
Kami: Is this pose sultry enough?
You look lovely dear.
Kami: but do I look sultry and smouldering?
Moving on..
Here are Kami’s

Kami: What about now?

Kami: I was going for fun loving
but sophisticated?
I think you try to hard
Kami: But I want to make a good
first impression!
I’m sure you have but let’s just act normal from now on shall we?
Kami: But will they still like
me?
They will love you!
Kami lives alone at
her beach side home in Sunlit Tides.
Recently moving away from the family home Kami hopes to earn her degree
at university before starting a family.
Oh, and last little
factoid, Kami is a witch!
So after a visit from
the university llama Kami fills out the aptitude test.
Kami: What’s a dob?
You mean D.O.B?
Kami: That’s what I said. A dob!
It means date of birth.
Kami: Well why don’t they just
put that instead of making up these silly new words!
*sigh* as you can
probably guess, Kami did not earn a scholarship!
With the aptitude
test completed Kami chooses a 3 week term working towards a degree in science
and medicine and heads off to university.
Kami: I’m so excited! I’m going to meet loads of people, get to go
to loads of parties..
And study. Don’t forget to
study.
Kami: I was getting to that bit.
Kami arrives at her
dorm and quickly begins to make friends.
Are you not going to bagsie a bed?
Kami: Nah, I’ll sleep wherever.
Ok, just don’t come complaining to me if you end up sleeping on the
sofa. You could have rented a house you
know.
Kami: Where’s the fun in that, I’d
never meet anyone!
True, this is a legacy after all!
Kami: Meaning?
Oh I have plans for you my dear girl!
Kami: *gulp*
Kami joins her fellow
students in listening to a guy tell ghost stories.
Ghost stories? How old are you?
Kami: They are really good!
Really.
Kami: Well they aren’t bad but
this guy is hot!
Kami wasted no time
in getting to know the hot story teller.
His name is Galen
Dragoso and he is a genie.

Turns out, Galen is
studying toward his Fine Arts degree and is also signed up for 3 weeks (spooky eh ;p).
Cid: Hey! Voice lady! I'm not a part of this story, get the camera outta my face!
I did however manage
to persuade Kami to tear herself away from Galen and spend some time studying
before classes started!
Kami seems to have
made quite the impression on Galen.
Wait a second, is
that..
Kami? Are you following Galen?
Kami: *cough* no, we just happen
to be going the same way.
But you are taking different classes?
Kami: You just wouldn’t believe
how squashed together the buildings are around here.
To help with Kami’s
performance she planted a few seeds to improve her gardening experience.
As well as her degree
she also had her own passions and was steadily building up her alchemy skills.
*cough* lucky the
dorm had an alchemy station *cough*
Her studying was interrupted
by the sound of guitar playing downstairs.
Kami: Oh my. He plays guitar! *swoons*
Nice to see you are not stalking Genies today Kami.
Kami: Overslept. Late. Very
late.
Galen: I swear she’s following
me.
The lady with the blue hair by any chance?
Galen: Yeah, that’s her. Kami I think she said her name was.
Urm, yeah. Sorry about that.
Galen: It’s okay it’s rather
flattering. And she’s cute.
So Galen, still okay?
Galen: A little bit on the creepy
side now if I’m honest.
*whispers* Kami! Back off a
bit!!
Kami did eventually learn
to keep her distance while stalking and the two became good friends.
She was also doing
well in classes and managed to stay on the Dean’s list most of the time.
Kami’s favourite part
of her degree was the experimenting.
Kami: I have got to get one of these when I get home!
Even if sometimes
things didn’t quite go to plan!
Kami: You saw me put an apple in
there right?
As Kami started to
spend more time working on the skills needed to improve her degree, she spent
less time stalking Galen.
Galen however seemed
to pick up the slack and make sure that he was never far away.
Kami loved her
practical classes working with the anatomy skeleton.
She analysed anything
and everything that stayed still long enough.
And was heavily
involved in the class science project.
Galen was beginning
to feel a little lonely without Kami there behind him everywhere he went.
He saw her harvesting
a plant nearby so decided to go speak to her.
Galen: Hey Kami!
Kami: Hey! I’ve been practicing this new charm, hold
still.
Galen: Look I just came to talk,
maybe I should go.
Kami: There. All done.
Galen: Done?
Kami: So how do you feel?
Galen: Like I could do
anything! What was that?
Kami: A good luck charm. It may not last long though, it’s my first
try.
Galen: So you mean I’ll be lucky
in whatever I do?
Kami: Yep! Oh, I’m excited! Go do something and let me know if you were
lucky!
Galen: Like this?
Kami: …
Kami: What was that for!
Galen: Look Kami. I’ve really missed you stalking me.
Kami: I was just going the same
way!
Galen: Anyway, I was wondering if
you would be my girlfriend so I can stalk you without getting arrested?
Kami: Oh Galen, I’d love to!
Galen: Well it worked.
Kami: What did?
Galen: Your charm.
Kami: Huh?
Galen: I'm the luckiest man alive, I just got you!
Kami: Oh Galen, that's so sweet!
Galen: Come here, I need a pic for my status
update!
Kami: Tag me!
So Galen, still creepy?
Galen: Nope it’s wonderful.
It wasn’t long before
Kami discovered Galen’s little hobby.
Kami: OMG! What were you doing in
that dumpster!
Galen: It’s a gold mine in
there. I’ve found a chair, a TV, a…
Kami: But you stink!
Galen: Small price to pay for the
gems you can find in there. You would be
amazed at what people throw away!
Kami: Well just go and get
showered and give me back the man I love rather than someone that smells like rotten
vegetables!
Galen: Did you just say you loved
me?
Kami: *blushes* well I guess I..
Galen: I love you too!
Kami: *smiles* Now go get cleaned
up before I turn you into an ice statue!
The science project
was ready for testing and Kami was picked to pull the lever of doom.
Kami: Why is it called the lever
of doom?
No idea. Probably just to scare
new students.
Kami: Well it’s working!
Ok, so maybe that’s
why it’s called the lever of doom then.
Despite the failure
of the class project, Kami’s other experiments were improving.
She was also managing
to keep up with her studies and still spend time with Galen.
Galen: Good morning. My name is Galen and I will be your tutor
today.
Galan: Phahahahahah!
The class project was
revisited and tweaked to try and discover the cause of the mass sleep.
This time the rest of
the group left the area sharpish leaving just Kami to pull the lever of doom.
Kami: Right guys I’ve correlated
the green nodule so this time we should see better results. Guys?
Where’d everyone go?
This time the experiment
was a success and Kami was connected to the hive mind.
Kami persuaded Galen
to let her take a DNA sample.
Galen: So what are you going to
do with it?
Kami: Ooh all sorts of
experiments! I may even try out cloning
once I learn how!
Galen: I don’t want you cloning
me give it back!
Kami: You gave it to me it’s
mine! Keep off!
Galen: Or what?
Kami: Or this!!!
Galen: You forget I’m a genie
little witch. You will have to do better
than that to curse me!
Kami: Fine, keep your stupid
DNA. I don’t want it. *storms off
sulking*
Kami: Stupid genie *mumble mumble*
doesn’t understand progression of science *mumble mumble*
Galen: stupid witch *mumble
mumble* doesn’t give a though for my feelings *mumble mumble*
A few hours later…
Kami: I’m sorry. I should have explained what I wanted to do
with the sample when I asked. Here, take
it.
Galen: No. You keep it.
I’m sure you won’t do anything which I wouldn’t approve of. I just wish you had explained. I’m sorry we argued.
Kami: Me too.
Galen: You wanna stay with me
tonight?
Kami: I’d like that.
Aww. They made up J
Kami’s experiments
were becoming increasingly successful.
Galen even spent some
time learning science to try and understand more about what Kami was so passionate
about.
Kami was quite in
tune with what Galen was learning as it involved cooking, and Kami loved to
eat!
Kami continued to
work on both her degree skills and her personal ones.
She also liked to
make her opinions heard!
Galen preferred to
use the megaphone for more childish pursuits!
Term was coming to a
close. The final exams were done and
Kami and Galen were getting ready for summer break. Kami was not looking forward to being apart
from Galen.
Kami: Just a thought. But would you like to come and spend summer
break with me?
Galen: Really?
You wouldn’t mind? I’d love to!
So the time came and
everyone headed back home for the summer.
Galen was excited to be spending the time with Kami and they both hoped
that this time together would bring them closer and not tear them apart.
